Can y’all believe it’s June already?! Each month I round up my favorite things to eat, wear, read, do, and more to share with y’all. It’s one of my favorite posts to write each month. You can read last month’s faves here or click here to see previous months!
May was a busy month for us! We helped friends move, had my parents in town for a weekend, and I was the MOH in my best friend’s wedding! With so much going on each weekend, it was hard to take time to relax and re-charge. I learned to say “no” to things when I knew I really needed to rest. That’s a tough lesson to learn, let me tell ya. But when you burst into tears at the end of a run, you know something’s got to give. This month, I encourage you to make time for yourself and the things you love to do, whatever that may be.
Enough serious stuff- let’s dive in!
T O W E A R
- I’ve been living in these basic tees, and own them in several colors! They’re so easy to throw on with jean shorts and go.
- I splurged on these leggings and this tank and do not regret it in the slightest. When you workout 6-7 days a week, you need quality gear that can keep up! I’m loving these, too.
- This shop has the tank and sweatshirt featured above, and it’s so hard to pick what I want to order! This mug is so cute, too.

- This new RX Bar flavor and this new (to me) KIND bar are so. freakin’. good. Bars can be sneaky with added sugars, but these two brands use all natural ingredients and don’t spike your blood sugar to make you hungry later. You can find RX Bars at Trader Joe’s, Central Market, and some Kroger’s!
- Smoothie bowls have been my jam this month. This has been my go-to recipe!
- My aunt made this blackberry cream cheese crumb cake for our Memorial Day BBQ and it was out of this WORLD. Pin it and save it for later when you need a dessert that knocks it out of the park.
- This easy chia seed pudding was the top viewed recipe on the blog last month!
O D D S & E N D S
- This pineapple tool is genius. You need it. The best part is getting to pour a drink into the empty pineapple at the end.
- Dallas-ites & Fort Worth-ians: Andrew and I went to the Dallas Zoo this month and were SO impressed. It’s a must do this summer! Also, we’ve been to Mash’d in Fort Worth twice this month and it’s already a favorite! The outdoor atmosphere is perfect for summertime.
- I’ve been drinking 80-100 oz of water a day, and this bottle is helping me do it. Since it’s 40 oz, I make sure to drink half by lunch and the other half throughout the afternoon. It’s so easy to keep track!
Happy June, y’all! Thanks for stopping by!
