We made it to Friday, y’all! I don’t know about y’all, but this week was a quick one for me. And next week we have a 3 day week! This weekend I’m headed to the Chi Omega Christmas Market in Dallas with some friends, and Sunday night my parents come in for Thanksgiving! I’m so excited to see them. Here’s what I’m loving, shopping and reading this week!
What I’m Loving
One of my closest friends gave me a makeup tutorial while she was here for Friendsgiving, and introduced me to this amazing RealTechnique makeup brushes that are so affordable from Amazon! This set has a foundation brush, detailer brush, contour brush, and buffing brush. Bonus: they clean super easily with gentle soap and water. So important to do every month.
If y’all didn’t catch it in my meal plan for this week, you have to try this Garlic Maple Dijon Chicken. It’s so easy, delicious, and man approved. By a man who doesn’t like mustard. Shh, I didn’t tell him there was any in it.
I’m all about adding some cozy details to decorate for Christmas, and I’m obsessed with this blanket that comes in so many pretty colors. I can’t wait to add a plaid blanket and a few festive throw pillows like this to our couch the day after Thanksgiving!
What I’m Shopping
My sweater dress finally came in from LOFT, and I couldn’t be happier with it! It’s so flattering, and LOFT is seriously awesome for petite ladies.
If you’re in the DFW area, I’m loving this new boutique I found called The Impeccable Pig! I can’t wait to check out their Southlake shop and try on this gorgeous top.
What I’m Reading
My two posts from this week are on fiyah! Check them out here:
- 12 Gifts For Your Holiday Party Hostess (all under $25!)
- How To Cook Your First Thanksgiving Turkey (and all the details from my friendsgiving tablescape!)
Oh! I made these 4 Ingredient Flourless Protein Brownie Bites this week! I did half peanut butter and half almond butter, and added 1 tbsp of almond milk to help the mixture out. They were super fudgy and looked nothing like the ones pictured, but they were GOOD! I added chocolate chips on top and used chocolate Nuzest protein and honestly it tasted completely like dessert 🙂
Lastly, I love feel-good articles about things I can do to improve my day, my health, etc., and this one about 20 Things You Can Do Right Now To Improve Your Health is so fun! Perfect for right before the holidays 😉
Happy weekend, y’all! Make it a good one!
